Jubilejní desáté vydání je tu! A v něm Vás čeká GP Utrecht, GP San Diego, SCG Open Washington, poslední série PTQs Dragon Maze a výsledky druhého kola české legacy & vintage series.

 

 

 

Dnes jsem se rozhodl začít limited GPčkem a to proto, že na něj vyrazilo docela dost českých hráčů. Formát byl GTC sealed a zúčastnilo se ho 677 týmů (2031 hráčů).

 

Z GP se nakonec stala švédská jízda, jelikož ve finále proti sobě stanuly dva švédské týmy. Vítězi se stali Fredrik Carlsson, Jonathan Bergström a Tomas Westling. Ve druhém týmu byl mj. Joel Larsson, který už tak v krátké době prohrál druhé velké finále…

 

Našim hráčům se taky docela dařilo, na krásném 20. místě skončila trojka Jakub Erenyi, Honza Hanzálek a David Do Anh a připsala si tak jeden pro point. V top50 byl ještě další Češi a to Martin Jůza, Lukáš Jaklovský, Ivo Kratěna a Břetislav Lukeš (zmíněný v coverage jakožto Bøéa).

 

 

 

Pokud máte v oblibě constructed, tak jste si určitě nenechali ujít tohle GP, kam se sjela celá americká špička (celkem 759 hráčů). Očekávat se dalo plno nových decků, jelikož se zatím s GTC žádné modernové GP nekonalo.

 

A tohle očekávání bylo naplněno, do top8 se dostalo osm různých, povětšinou i inovativních decků! All-star GP byl určitě Ajani Vengeant, který se hrál v UWRku, v Zoočku a dokonce se splashoval i v Jundu!

 

Top8 se skládala z Tribal Zoa, UWR Flashe, Ajani Jundu, Scapeshiftu, Vajíček, Domri Nayi, Affinity a Junku. Uhádnete, co hráli Brian Kibler, Eric Froehlich a Dave Shfarman (všichni byli v top8 samozřejmě)?

 

Finále se ale obešlo zcela bez velkých jmen, probojovali se do něj Sammy Tukeman (UWR Flash) a Nathan Holiday (Vajíčka). Nathan Holiday zvítězil hladce 2:0 a podobně jako Standa Cífka na PT, i on prošel celým turnajem pouze s jednou prohrou (s UW kontrolem)!

 

Myslím si, že všechny decklisty z top8 (kromě Affinity a Vajíček) jsou natolik zajímavé, že stojí za to se na ně rovnou podívat (kompletní coverage zde):

Navzdory konání GP si do Washngtonu našlo cestu 553 hráčů! Mezi nimi byli i známí harcovníci jako Brad Nelson, Todd Anderson, Brian-Braun Duin, nebo Shaheen Soorani. Ani tentokráte se ale nikdo z nich nedostal do top8 (ale v ní byl alespoň Gerrard Fabiano)…

 

Potvrdil se zde trend posledních dvou týdnů, kdy aggro decky ustoupily hodně do pozadí. Dominantním deckem byl tentokráte Junk – ve finále se střetli Jon Goss s Junk Midrangem a John Bauer s Junk Reanimatorem. Zvítězil John Bauer 2:0.

 

Metagame top16 byla následující: 4× Junk Reanimator, 1× Junk Midrange, 1× 4C Midrange, 3× Esper Control, 1× BW Zombies, 1× Naya Humans, 1× Solar Flare, 1× Gruul Aggro, 1× Naya Aggro, 1× Esper Tokens a 1× Bant Hexproof.

 

Všimněte si, že po skutečné dlouhé době nebyl v top16 ani jeden Jund!

4. SCG Open Washington – Legacy

 

 

Legačku si přišlo zahrát 268 hráčů. Na rozdíl od minulého týdne byla tentokráte top8 v režii neznámých hráčů. Ve fiále se utkali Bryant Cook se Stormem a Benjamin Green s UWR Delverem. Zvítězil trochu překvapivě Bryant Cook 2:1, k čemuž mu určitě pomohly maindeck Silence.

5. PTQs Dragon‘s Maze – poslední várka (Modern)

 

 

Uplynulým víkendem nám skončila PTQ sezóna na PT Dragon’s Maze v San Diegu. Ale nezoufejte, příští týden nám začíná další PTQ sezóna a to ve formátu Standard!

 

Tentokráte se konalo jenom minimum turnajů, mezi nimiž byly dva turnaje na modu a pak hlavně PTQ ve Státech… K dispozici jsou zatím výsledky jen z jednoho Modo PTQ, ale druhé bylo stejně sealed, takže o moc nepřicházíte. A dále se podíváme na PTQ z italského Frosinone.

 

 

 

Poslední constructed PTQ si na modu zahrálo 207 hráčů a poněkud překvapivě se z vítězství radoval Living End pilotovaný hráčem operujícím pod nickem ajburn94.

 

Poraženým finalistou byl UW Control a zbytek top8 byl 1× Junk, 1× GW Aury, 1× Tribal Zoo, 1× Monogreen Tron, 1× BW Tokeni a 4C Gifty. Velmi divoká "kreace" pak skončila na 12. místě, zaškatulkoval bych to asi jako BRW kontrol, ale skutečně nic podobného jsem zatím neviděl…
 

Ze zajímavých decků v top16 bych ještě zmínil Glittering Jund, který už se takto vysoko objevil na minulém PTQ a taky jde o velmi pěkný deck :)

Na poslední italské PTQ se sešlo 176 hráčů. Ve finále se utkali Federico Marcucci (GR Tron) a Corrado De Sio (Vajíčka). Relic of Progenitus zřejmě udělal své a tak zvítězil Federico Marcucci.

6. Druhé kolo české legacy & vintage series

 

 

Probělho v Praze v Černém Rytíři. A jak už jsem zmínil v minulých Flash News, tak legačka byla zároveň trialem na GP Štrasburg. Zúčastnilo se jí 52 lidí a zvítězil Jiří Nitsche s 12 Postem. Poraženým finalistou byl Kristián Janda se Stormem, který zvítězil v předešlém turnaji a průběžně tak vede právě před Jirkou Nitschem.

 

V top8 se dále nacházelo: 1× Show and Tell, 1× 4C Casade, 1× Kombohelmy, 1× Storm a 2× RUG Delver

Vintage se zúčastnilo 14 lidí. A ačkoli jsem si dříve myslel, že se tam hraje jenom Dredge a Jacerator (Time Vault kombo), tak tento turnaj ukázal, že i zde je velice rozmanitý field.

 

Vítězem se stal Michal Brodzák s Bant Zoem, na druhém místě pak skončil Martin Všianský s Oathami. K vidění tu byly ale i velmi originální decky, jako například Cobra11 Jirky Lebedy, nebo Selfmill Jana Zuskače.
